Our vapour blasting — sometimes called aqua blasting, wet blasting, or vapor blasting — is priced fairly and transparently based on component size and complexity.

Price Guide

To give you an idea of typical costs:

• Small parts — carburettors, cam covers, side covers, small brackets: £25–50
• Medium parts — cylinder heads, inlet manifolds, rocker covers, alternator housings: £50–100
• Large parts — engine cases, gearboxes, large engine blocks: £80–200+

The full pricing range runs from £5 for very small items up to £400 for the largest, most time-intensive jobs. Most restoration parts fall comfortably in the middle.

How We Price

We don't charge by weight or a flat rate per item. We charge based on how long a job actually takes — which depends on the size of the part, how dirty or corroded it is, and whether any additional prep work is needed (paint stripping, masking, etc.).

A clean engine cover that just needs a blast will cost less than the same cover that's been painted three times and needs prep first. We assess every job and give you a fixed price upfront — no nasty surprises at collection.

What Affects the Price?

• Size — bigger parts take longer in the cabinet
• Condition — heavy corrosion, thick paint or baked-on oil takes more time to prep and blast
• Complexity — parts with lots of fins, channels or internal passages need more careful attention
• Quantity — multiple parts from the same job may be eligible for a combined price

Add-Ons

ACF-50 anti-corrosion treatment — After blasting, freshly exposed metal can start to oxidise quickly. We offer an ACF-50 protective coating as an add-on to keep your parts looking factory-fresh for longer. Recommended for parts going into storage or taking time to reassemble.

Paint stripping prep — If your parts are painted, we can handle the prep work before blasting. Just let us know when you enquire.
