Medical & Laboratory Equipment

Vapour blasting cleans medical and laboratory components to a high standard — chemical-free, no dimensional change, and a consistent finish that's ready for re-sterilisation.

What We Work On

We clean medical devices, dental equipment, laboratory components, and pharmaceutical manufacturing parts. If it's precision, stainless steel, or titanium and needs a thorough clean without chemicals or aggressive abrasives, aqua blasting is worth a look:

  • Surgical instruments
  • Orthopaedic implant components
  • Dental equipment and lab fittings
  • Autoclave parts and stainless steel housings
  • Laboratory glassware fittings and connectors
  • Titanium components
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment

Common issues we deal with: oxidation, surface staining, contamination deposits, discolouration on stainless steel, and general surface degradation on high-use instruments.

Why Vapour Blasting for Medical Parts

The wet blasting process uses water and fine abrasive media — no chemicals, no heat, no aggressive action that could alter your part. That matters when you're dealing with precision instruments or implant components where tolerances are tight and surface integrity is critical.

  • Chemical-free — no residue left on the part, nothing to rinse out or neutralise
  • No dimensional change — safe for instruments with tight fits or fine geometry
  • Removes oxidation and staining from stainless steel and titanium without damaging the base material
  • Even, consistent finish — suitable for parts that will go back into service or be re-sterilised
  • Gentle enough for fine detail — vapor blasting won't round off edges or damage engraving

We're not a medical reprocessing facility — we don't sterilise. But we can clean components to a high standard and return them ready for your sterilisation process.

Who We Work With

Medical device manufacturers needing to clean components between processes. Dental labs with instruments that need periodic reconditioning. NHS procurement teams looking for a cost-effective way to extend instrument life. Laboratory equipment suppliers refurbishing returned stock.

If you're not sure whether your parts are suitable, send us a photo on WhatsApp. We'll tell you straight whether it's something we can do and what it'll cost.
